ongoing employee inspiration and commitment, Light the Fire Within
will help you understand and capitalize on the power within your
employees.
This
90-minute workshop teaches managers how to create enthusiasm and
motivation at work using intrinsic motivation principles, rather than
relying on extrinsic rewards. Within
each person is the often-untapped potential for enthusiasm and
motivation for high job performance.
This involving and informative workshop will teach participants
what is this “fire within” most people at work, and then how to
unleash this internal motivation. Through
the use of humorous stories, group discussion and exercises,
participants will learn two fundamentals of intrinsic motivation that
managers have used to “light the fire within.”
Topics
covered in the workshop are: (1) how to use three “motivation
truths” to inspire others; (2) how values, attitudes and beliefs
influence intrinsic motivation; (4)
how success and self-esteem impact the “fire within”; (5) ways to
set direction and provide feedback that is motivating; and (6) two
