Begin the Engagement
bullet Initial interviews with coaching candidate and their mentor/sponsor
bullet Decisions about the diagnosis and other logistics details are made and success measures are identified 

                
Diagnosis
bullet The coach collects diagnostic information relevant to the coaching process, which may include interviews with key stakeholders, personality questionnaires, etc.

                
Plan the Coaching Sessions
bullet The coach develops a tentative plan for the coaching sessions and develops appropriate skills building material

                
Initial Coaching Session
bullet Development plan finalized and agreed upon by all involved parties
bullet Skill building begins
bullet First assignments made

                
Additional Monthly Sessions
bullet Additional development sessions
bullet One or more sessions with the coaching candidate's mentor/sponsor

                
Periodic Follow-up Phone Calls
bullet Monthly follow-up phone interviews with coaching candidate
bullet Periodic calls to mentor/sponsor and other key stakeholders, as needed
Joint Evaluation
bullet Assessment Report
bullet Decision about whether or not to continue coaching relationship
