“The most immutable barrier in nature is between
one man’s thoughts and another’s.” –William James

You always hear, “it’s a communications problem.”  Communication is critical to meeting and exceeding business objectives.  This course describes communication as a transaction in which speakers and listeners strive for mutual understanding.  Employees expect to have an abundance of information as an ordinary and appropriate part of their employment experience.  Leaders should recognize this expectation of their employees and devise communication plans, policies and practices that help create desired outcomes.
