Ed is an experienced industrial psychologist, author, researcher, public speaker and consultant. He brings more than 15 years as a university professor and a history of management consulting to work for his worldwide clients.

He has written more than 50 articles, computer programs, book chapters and papers on human behavior and human resource management.

John Cornelius has contributed to the growth and development of organizations around the world.  With extensive, real-world experience and a strategic perspective, he helps organizations focus their energy on continuous process improvement and increasing employee involvement. As a consultant, John is skilled in helping management teams align their visions and goals with their people strategies and systems.

He is a senior associate with Cornelius & Associates with nearly two decades of experience in human resources and management development. John is a former Chairman of the Management and Marketing Department at Central Texas College and a recipient of the Outstanding Educator Award for the American Educational Complex.

Recently, John authored a course, "Supervisory Leadership", that was adopted as the required introductory supervisory course for all managers in a global Fortune 500 company.


PATRICIA A. GOWAN

Pat Gowan's academic preparation and organizational experience provides clients with current, realistic and effective people development techniques. As a coach and trainer, she creates highly productive learning environments that provide employees practical, hands-on applications of training concepts.

Her experience includes serving as a staff psychologist for the South Carolina Department of Public Safety and as an internal trainer for Coopers & Lybrand. She has facilitated training for performance improvement teams, conducted job analysis, and performance employee assessment and evaluation.  Pat is a certified MBTI

Dr. H. Gregory Hawkins is National Director for Evaluation, Research and Resource Development at Cornelius & Associates and is Vice President of Nonprofit Performance Solutions, Cornelius & Associates' division focused on servicing nonprofit organizations.  Dr. Hawkins has more than a decade of experience as a researcher, research coordinator, professor of research methods, and research center director at Clemson University.  His experience includes identification of grant opportunities, assistance with grant proposal development, program and project evaluation, organizational and customer attitude and satisfaction surveys, focus groups and personal interviews, market research, environmental scanning, and strategic planning.


ART HERBERT, PMP

Art Herbert brings 17 years of project management expertise to his clients with a background in higher education, private industry, and government.   This experience and his focus on goals and milestones allow Art to lead, manage or guide projects to their successful completion, both on time and within budget constraints.  He has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and has often worked in team environments. 

While Art is detail-orientated, he can also keep his eye on the “big-picture” goals.  He has specific expertise in assigning priorities to competing project tasks, creating communication plans, problem solving, coaching and mentoring project team members, and instilling order to chaotic situations.

JENNIFER S. HIGGINS, PMP

Jennifer S. Higgins offers specialized project management experience in implementing and administering projects and project offices.  Jennifer has a broad range of skills in working on project teams, mentoring and coaching project managers, and managing the functional aspects of a project office, including reporting, documentation, standards development, and training.  Jennifer’s ability to perform effectively in a variety of roles makes her an asset to any organization.

 

KEVIN HUGHES

Kevin Hughes was a practitioner long before he became a consultant and trainer. He brings real-world experience and an enthusiasm for employee learning into every situation.

Kevin began his career as an industrial engineer and has held positions with several organizations, including years as an operations manager of Ohio Gear Company. He began consulting and training in 1987 and has conducted hundreds of seminars in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, the Pacific Rim and Europe.

He has authored and co-authored several workbooks on leadership and project management, and was a founding member of the Positive Employee Practice Institute, PEPI.

As a consultant, Jordy brings a depth of experience to the partnership. During his career, which spans more than 20 years, he has held positions including Operation Manager, Human Resource Manager, and College Dean. He has helped continuous manufacturing operations, job shops, and service industries achieve bottom-line results.

Jordy is a Senior Professional in Human Resources Management and former Chairman of the Division of Business and Economics at the University of South Carolina at Sumter.
